Vineland Municipal Electric

vinelandCommunity Energy Solar has developed and arranged for the construction of the 6.5 MW (AC) Vineland Solar facility in conjunction with Vineland Municipal Electric Utility and Constellation Energy Group.

West Vineland Solar – 4 MW (AC) photovoltaic located at the Landis Sewage Authority.

North Vineland Solar – 2.5 MW (AC) photovoltaic project located on land leased to Community Energy Solar from a private landowner.

"This project represents a significant step in making Vineland Municipal Utility an example of environmental stewardship while at the same time lowering cost to our customers. It's a win-win for the community, our customers and the environment."

— Joseph Isabella, Director of Vineland Municipal Utilities

 The Keystone Solar Project

farmonly

Keystone Solar is a 15 MW (AC) solar PV facility that will be constructed in East Drumore Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Keystone will be the largest utility-scale solar project in Pennsylvania, with Exelon Generation purchasing the entire output of the initial 5 MW project. Producing six megawatts of solar power, the solar farm will generate approximately 8,000 MWhs of clean, fuel-free electricity a year — enough to power over 950 homes from this single solar field.

The Jacobstown Project Phase-1 is a 5 MW (AC) solar photovoltaic (PV) generation project interconnected into the Jersey Central Power and Light (JCP&L) 34.5 kV system in North Hanover Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. The project is on schedule for a Commercial Operation Date of Q2 2012. Phase-2 of this project is an additional 5 MW (AC) solar photovoltaic (PV) development opportunity also to be interconnected into the JCP&L 34.5 kV system. Phase-1 and Phase-2 combined will total 10 MW (AC).

The West Pemberton Project is a 7 MW (AC) solar photovoltaic (PV) generation project interconnected into the Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) 26 kV system in Pemberton Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. The project is on schedule for a Commercial Operation Date of Q2 2012.

Solar Project Development

Community Energy Solar is currently pursuing solar farm developments in: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Colorado, Ohio, Illinois, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and North Carolina. Community Energy Solar builds long-term relationships by creating a win-win scenario for all parties involved. Community Energy’s market experience, local relationships and financial backing combines for the most reliable source of high-quality solar development projects and REC creation. Community Energy Solar currently has 2012 Solar PV projects in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Indiana, and Puerto Rico — with a growing pipeline of projects behind these late-stage projects.

Benefiting the Community
Farmers and property owners who lease their land to Community Energy Solar for solar farms enjoy a steady income stream from a twenty-year solar harvest with the ability to return the land unharmed to future generations. Towns and communities benefit from a larger tax base, which supports schools and local infrastructure. The development and operation of the solar project creates temporary construction jobs and long-term management jobs. The benefits of Community Energy Solar development go much deeper than protecting the environment.
